HERE IS A FITTING MESSAGE TO END A DECADE, TERRIBLE WARNING OF END OF TIME, AND ONLY HOPE

• God gave Daniel the promise of Michael, the great angel coming to deliver His people
• God gave to Daniel the vision of the hellishness of the Tribulation- but a promise of hope
• The words of this prophecy are sealed - v.9, but the wise shall understand- v.10b- are you wise?

I hope you are not so caught up with the confusion of this age that you miss wisdom!

The world is not getting better- but rather the evil hearts of men will create hell on earth

THE PROPHECY OF DANIEL FORETOLD A TIME OF TROUBLE FOR DANIEL'S OWN PEOPLE - THE JEWS

• The rise of the Anti-Christ will precipitate a time of trouble for Israel never before seen
• The Nation of Israel has survived its great dispersion - 2,000 years; now back in the land
• She is strong, but the nations around her are sowing dragon's teeth, even now war guns sound

THE EXPANDED PROPHECIES OF DANIEL INCLUDE THE GENTILES IN THIS TIME OF TROUBLE- Matt 24:6-

• Our decade- the Sizzling Sixties - a spectacle to all the world's history - never greater
• Nations tossing-; US subverted - race riots, campus war, crime, narcotics, miniskirts, moonwalk
• You can't hide - even in church; last FBI report - Phoenix leads nation in rape (even at church door)

DANIEL SAW AN INCREASE IN SPEED AND KNOWLEDGE -v.4b A TIME DEMANDING PATIENCE AND SURVIVAL -12

• The 19th and 20th centuries have sent missionaries and Bibles world-wide - everyone almost -heard
• We have had in 60s a knowledge explosion!  Moonwalk, transplants, communications, research-
• We have greater knowledge, liberty, ability, opportunity and power than ever in history, but enjoying it less
• But with all our greatness- we have produced a hell on earth for most- instead of a heaven

A TIME OF DELIVERANCE Dan 12:1bcd

• When our troubles are at their greatest, God has given us assurance of deliverance - HOPE

JESUS ALSO PROPHECIED HIS COMING WILL BE AS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH - Matt 24:37-39

• We read Gen 4 to see- 17-Cities, 19-Polygamy, 21-Music, 22-Metallurgy; 23-Crime without punishment
• Matt 24:22 warns except those days be shortened, no flesh shall survive- bombs, drugs, pill
• I have been disappointed into inaction- need a "new lease on life." We win wars, but lose the victory

THE ONLY ONES DELIVERED WILL BE THOSE WHO ARE WRITTEN IN THE BOOK - v.1e - WHAT BOOK?

• Jesus told His disciples that they should rejoice only in this - Luke 10:20 -names written
• Millions today are dissatisfied with our greatness- materialism, and are running amuck - cults
• We will see strange ministries- pray for them- Graham preaching at Rock Festival - Florida - 

THE DELIVERANCE FOR THOSE WRITTEN WILL BE THROUGH TRIAL, CLEANSING, PURIFICATION, v.10a

• The wise will understand - times will grow worse, confusing, hearts will fail, elect almost tricked
• With the great advance in scientific achievement, but moral suicide- your faith tried by fire!
• The real Christian will have to stand against subtle temptations, as well as open wicked sin
• Satan will cleverly place "his mark" on you through any opening- compromise - keep short accounts with God.

A TIME OF RESURRECTION AND JUDGEMENT - Dan 12:2,3

• This is true, literal, physical resurrection of all who are dead - have faith to believe?

THERE ARE DIFFEREING RESURRECTIONS, AND WE MUST REALIZE THAT WE CANNOT ESCAPE

• Matt 27:52,53 tells of those who came up at time of Christ's death - Matthew believed it and died
• John 5:29. Matt 25:46, Dan 12:2 all tell of resurrection of just and unjust Rev 20:5 / 1,000 years
• Matt 13:43 tells of some who shine as the sun, a glory that is bright and wonderful

THEY THAT BE WISE SHALL SHINE AS THE BRIGHTNESS OF THE FIRMAMENT, AS THE STARS FOREVER Dan 12:3

• I Cor 15 pictures glory, honor, power, a great spiritual body, sinless, victorious, wonderful
• As stars differ in glory, so Christians will differ in their reward in God's presence!
• Who will be great? Matt 5:19b those who do His commandments and teach them to others

THE GREATEST PRIZE IS GIVEN TO THE WISE - WE CAN'T ALL BE SMART, BUT WE CAN BE WISE!

• We each develop our reputation (PR) but we build our character (can't divorce self)
• What is wisdom?  Prov. 9:10, 8:13, but the greatest - Prov 11:30 - he that winneth souls!
• Anyone can witness; if you do you can improve by experience, THIS IS WHAT REALLY COUNTS!
• Our teens passed out 100 tracts, and I have 18 Salvation/Dedication cards from one person - can be done!

I URGE YOU, LOOK AT THIS SCRIPTURE PASSAGE, AND TRY TO UNDERSTAND, PRAY FOR WISDOM!

• Hunger and thirst after Christ; love Him, pray and spend time in scripture - read the N.T.
• Pray, witness, purify yourself, as one looking for the soon coming of the Lord Jesus
• Don't let Satan trick you out of your soul - get your name written in the Book of Life!
• Don't let Satan trick you out of your reward- be a soulwinner or die trying!
