THESE ARE STARTLING WORDS, THERE ARE SOULS IN DANGER, NOT JUST OF DEATH, BUT OF ETERNAL HELLFIRE

1. Before tomorrow's sun can set, as many as in all Phoenix will die- most prematurely- & lost
2. Physical salvation is important-(Kathy Fiscus) -but The Soul needs a Savior even more
3. The all-absorbing interest of the church should be to save souls - all else comes second

The church is a sleeping giant- tied by pigmies- WAKE UP, LET'S GET TO THE BATTLE! 

I.- WHAT ABOUT SOUL WINNING? James 5:20

The Bible is mysterious about the driving force of its great leaders- In N.T. it shows- Souls!

A.- WHAT IS A SOUL? SOME EVEN DENY ITS EXISTENCE, BUT IT IS REAL, THOUGH MYSTERIOUS - REAL YOU!

1. The Soul's capacities are unbelievably great- some strong, mysterious forces, -great love
2. The Soul's value immeasurable- Jesus valued the human soul more important than world- Mat 16:26

B.- THE SOULS BEING WON ! AN ETERNAL DESTINY CHANGED, AND THE HEART OF MAN FROM HELLISH TO HEAVENLY

1. The Soul won to the Lord represents the greatest revolutionary change for the good possible.
2. How can a Soul be Won- the amazing simplicity of the Gospel of Jesus Rom 6:23, John 20:31
3. No Soul is exempt from the need, nor from the possibility- every one saved that comes to Jesus

C. THE SOULWINNER: A PERSON WHOSE SPECIAL LOVE MAKES THEM SHINE AS STARS IN GLORY- Daniel 12:3

1. The Scripture represents the soulwinner as being wise- Prov 11:30 -a heavenly wisdom, true worth
2. The Angels in Heaven rejoice- Luke 15:7- ring the bells of heaven by winning a soul to Jesus
3. The Soulwinner can be any person-young, old, great, small,-if you know Jesus- it can be YOU!

You have the keys of Heaven and Hell- and can unlock shackles of sin, set souls free!

II.- HOW CAN A SOUL BE CONVERTED ?

R.A. Torrey contemplated this- a man boomed overboard, Torrey caught his collar, -pulled aboard-quick

A.- BY YOUR WORD SOULS CAN BE SAVED,- BY YOUR TALKING, GOSSIPPING, THE GOSPEL!

1. First- talk with God- There is no soulwinning without Prayer pointedly for a person needing Jesus
2. Second- Talk with the Person- NOT PREACH but talk about what interests them-be friends- then !
3. Third- Talk about Jesus- DON'T ARGUE RELIGION,- but tell them what Jesus has done for you-witness

B.- BY THE WORD, GIVE THE PERSON THE WORD OF GOD, IT IS THE SEED THAT BEARS LIFE

1. Take the people to where they can hear the Word of Life- BRING 'EM BACK ALIVE!- But check sermon !
2. Tell them yourself about what the Word of God says - Most of you know enough to save the world!
3. Give them the Word-  tracts, Bible portions, Church Bulletins, Canvasing- visiting-

C.- BY HIS WORD THE SINNER CONFESSES CHRIST AND OPENS HEAVEN'S DOORS FOR HIS SOUL

1. Jesus said "By our words we would be justified, or condemned-" Matt 12:37 -Soul must speak
2. Paul explained the way to Salvation- by Words- Rom 10:8-10,13 get the person to speak of faith
3. Lead the person to speak to God- confess as sinner, claim Christ, ask for Salvation, Thank God -
4. Lead the person to speak to men- Confessing Christ as Savior- testifying what God has done

This is how a soul is saved, and you can do it - been done by old & young, great & small

III. CAN WE WIN SOULS AS GOD'S ARMY ??

Many times an individual attacked (Jonathan)- but nations are won by logistics, armies- cooperation

A.- OURS IS A GREAT CHURCH, WITH GREAT INDIVIDUALS SERVING, GROWING, AND BEING BLESSED OF THE LORD - BUT

1. We have seen as high as 100 decisions in a year- tops in Baptism by efforts of two or three-
2. We have seen individuals get burdened- & measure of revival!-Some now are burdened-willing-
3. But our Church has refused to be disciplined as an army-led to victory - we just play church-

B.- WE NEED TO BECOME A GREAT SOULWINNING CHURCH, WILLING TO SACRIFICE TO SEE SOULS SAVED -

1. Every Class, group, club,- needs to get down to business- Build a church that wins! not party fun
2. It's fun to win souls- but some want worldly fun- wreck classes, play at social club time-
3. Teachers, are you burdened? By groups-speak for souls! Quit playing & get to work- grow up!

C.- "LIKE A MIGHTY ARMY MOVES THE CHURCH OF GOD", AND WE CAN MOVE AS A CHURCH SHOULD, - COOPERATING!

1. The time for play is soon over - our land faces judgement- So every individual-you are needed!
2. We need a Calling program- & reports! We need to be friendly to visitors-, personally winsome
3. With teamwork- praying, and sowing beside all fields- Psa 126:6- bearing seed- reaping harvest!

It might cost you a little time, effort, sacrifice,- but we either win or it is too late!

DO YOU HAVE A BURDEN FOR SOULS, SOULS GOING TO HELL THAT NEED SAVING! CHRISTIANS IN SIN NEED HAND

1. Will you covenant with me to really pray for souls-? And to pray for a burden to win the lost?
2. Will you join an army for the Lord with- officers bossing soldiers- & organize to win souls?
3. You cannot join the army without being saved- Baptized- & should be a member of this church!
