JUST AS JUDE DENOUNCES THE APOSTATES, IT ALSO GIVES COMFORT AND ASSURANCE TO THE SAINT OF GOD

1. The World is looking for something able to stand the impact of all our confused age
2. People are looking for security in insurance, and government guarantees- but none there
3. Jesus alone is able to meet the needs of our heart- and grant us the security that we desire.

"Now unto Him that is able"- To save to keep, Present faultless

I.- HE IS ABLE TO SAVE THE SINNER Heb 7:25

"Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him-"

A.- HE IS THE AUTHOR OF OUR SALVATION "Author and finisher of our faith- Heb 12:2a

1. He came to this earth to seek and to save the lost... & today He still seeks the lost
2. He chose this path from before the foundation of the earth- and chose you-
3. His salvation works- 

B.- THE EXTENT OF THE SALVATION - UNTO THE UTTERMOST - FROM THE GUTTERMOST! 

1. He died to save us from the penalty of our sin- took our place on the cross-
2. He arose to save us from the power of sin- now ever liveth making intercession
3. He is coming again to save us from the very presence of sin- -

C.- THE CONDITION OF SALVATION - "COME UNTO GOD BY HIM" Heb 7:25c

1. There is no other name to be saved by- We preach only one way- Jesus Christ "I am the Way-"
2. The Bible is full of phrases- "Whosoever will" and "If any man will"-
3. Though the world is full of apostates- it is also full of the Glory of the Lord-

And any who want to be saved can find someone to tell them the way-

II.- HE IS ABLE TO KEEP YOU FROM FALLING

Phil 1:6 - is our confidence that He will perform the good work He has started in you!

A.- SAFETY- "HE IS ABLE TO DELIVER  - safety from temptation- II Pet 2:9

1. The Apostates are reserved unto Judgement if they do not repent & get saved - then vengeance 
2. The temptations that the devil thrust into our ways- the Lord knows how to make way to escape 
3. He delivered Daniel from the lion's den, He delivered Stephen from the fear of death-

B.- PROTECTION- "HE IS ABLE TO KEEP YOU FROM FALLING"

1. The promise of the Lord is Eternal Life- John 10:28 - Shall never perish- no man pluck-
2. The greatest soulwinning passage- John 3:15,16- "Should not perish"- conditional-believeth
3. This world has no security- but in Christ there is eternal security

C.- PERFECTION- "TO PRESENT YOU FAULTLESS BEFORE HIS PRESENCE" Jude 24c

1. Paul was jealous that we should be presented to Christ as a chaste virgin - pure- II Cor 11:2
2. But he knew that when Christ finished His work we would be without spot- Eph 5:27
3. The way this is done- Eph 5:26- Saved by His Blood- sanctified & cleansed by the Word

Have you had sufficient exposure to the Word of God to be cleansed?

III. THE  MOST BEAUTIFUL DOXOLOGY --- Jude 25

The apostolic spirit is seen in the great Glory of God- and the exceeding joy of saint

A.- WHEN WE STAND BEFORE HIS PRESENCE, IT WILL BE WITH EXCEEDING JOY - 24d

1. For a sinner to stand in the presence of God- is to face atomic annihilation- glory so great
2. But Christ has so sanctified us wholly-- that we can come boldly- Joy is His & ours.-
3. Can you think of the Joy for Christ- His job is finished- completed-
4. Surely you can think of the Joy for the saint- his agony is over - Redemption of Body-

B.- THE GREAT SONG OF TRIBUTE TO GOD THE FATHER- "TO THE ONLY WISE GOD, OUR SAVIOUR"

1. Man needs to recognize that there is but one God- all else are idols invented by men
2. He is the only God- there are no gods otherwise! - - But He is also wise
3. He is also our savior- personal attention, personal love

C.- THE PRAYER IS - TO GOD BE GLORY, MAJESTY, DOMINION AND POWER, - NOW AND EVER" Amen!

1. We need to recognize the God of Glory and majesty - revere Him, and praise Him-
2. Such recognition does not change Him- but it sure changes us!
3. We need to praise His government- "Thy Kingdom Come-on earth" "dominion & Power"

When we recognize His Glory- we realize our own security the more-

THERE IS BUT ONE ARK THAT CAN CARRY US THROUGH ALL THE STORMS OF LIFE TO HEAVEN'S SHORE

If you want joy- meditate upon His glory and what He has done for you-
If you want salvation- accept what He has done for you!
