AFTER A STUDY OF GOD'S WORD AND CURRENT EVENTS, I DON'T LOOK FOR SIGNS, I LISTEN FOR SOUNDS-TRUMPETS

1. From the Days of Moses- Num 10:2 the Silver trumpets were used to call assembly of God's faithful
2. But this same sound of the Trumpet strikes terror into hearts of others- Luke 21:25-28
3. But everything must be in its proper order - "The Day of the Lord" is an age- not a day! 

It compromises an age- Approximately 1,007 years- from Rapture -Revelation-& End of Time & World 

I.- THE DAY OF CHRIST - A DAY OF SALVATION

I am simplifying the terms- but sometimes they are used interchangeably-so observe terms

A.- "BELOVED, I SHOW YOU A MYSTERY" I Cor 15:51,2 -WE SHALL NOT ALL SLEEP, BUT WE SHALL ALL BE CHANGED

1. Paul describes a time when in the twinkling of an eye- we shall be changed- made incorruptible
2. John I Jn 3:3 says "we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is" No more darkness
3. we shall receive glorified Bodies- total sanctification, Redemption of Body - "Blessed Hope"

B.- "THE LORD SHALL DESCEND FROM HEAVEN" I Thess 4:14-17 "THE TRUMP OF GOD"

1. The dead in Christ shall rise first, then we which walk the earth- "caught up together in clouds"
2. This mysterious transition and transportation is called the "Rapture" - a divine rescue!
3. Think what the world will be like with all the Redeemed Church, Holy Spirit, caught out!

C.- "YOU KNOW PERFECTLY THAT THE DAY OF THE LORD SO COMETH AS A THIEF IN THE NIGHT"- I Thess 5:2

1. The world will not know what is happening, there is no time schedule itemizing this- no chart
2. The Redeemed will find this a day of rejoicing- Rev. 19:6b-9- The Wedding supper of the Lamb
3. Sometime while in Paradise awaiting the next development- II Cor 5:10 -Judgement Seat of Christ

But though it is a thief in night to world- I Thess 5:4,5 -but ye are not in darkness -

II.- THE DAY DAY OF THE LORD - A. DAY OF CONQUEST !

This great day is described in Rev. 19:11-19 At the close of the 7 year Tribulation-& Anti-Christ

A.- HERE IS DESCRIBED THE PUBLIC COMING OF THE SON OF MAN IN POWER, AND EVERY EYE SHALL BEHOLD HIM

1. Matt 24:28 speaks of the carcass and eagles, this matches Rev. 19:18 final Armageddon battle
2. Matt 24:29,30 also places this event at the end of the great and terrible tribulation -
3. This trumpet call is to rally His troops as we come with Him to establish His kingdom on earth

B.- THE OLD TESTAMENT SPOKE OF THE "DAY OF THE LORD" AS A DAY OF TERROR, WRATH, AND DEATH

1. Amos 5:18 "Woe to you who desire the Day of the Lord"- a day of darkness, hurt, terror
2. Mal 455 "The great and dreadful Day of the Lord for every knee forced to bow, every tongue to confess
3. Isa 2:12 This "Day of the Lord" is the day when the proud will be brought down -

C.- THE DAY OF THE LORD IS SOMETHING SPECIAL FOR THE NATION OF ISRAEL, JUDGEMENT FOR THE CROSS

1. Zech 12:2 it is a day when Jerusalem will be a cup of trembling, Jews will be killed, mourn
2. Zech 12:10 and they will look on Him whom they have pierced - those surviving are converted
3. And the Lord will establish His Kingdom with a rod of Iron- instant Judgement

Matt 24:39,40,41 -those "Taken"- are not raptured- but taken for judgement- 42

III.- THE DAY OF JEHOVAH - A DAY OF DESTRUCTION - FIRE

Then after the 1,000 year reign of Christ-Rev. 20:4b-6 comes Gog & Magog- & Fire v.7-11

A.- THERE WILL BE A SECOND RESURRECTION, AND THOSE WHO HAVE DONE EVIL TO BE JUDGED BY GOD

1. This is called the "Great White Throne Judgement"- and this involves all the unsaved of Earth
2. The earth has been destroyed by Fire-v.9, II Pet 3:10 -"Day of Lord" too!  Elements melt
3. We shall stand behind the Throne - assisting the Lord in Judging the world- Retribution!

B.- DEATH AND HELL ARE CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE - THIS IS THE SECOND DEATH! Rev 20:14,15

1. No man's work can stand the searching eye of God- but before condemnation the books checked
2. Whosoever was not found written in the Lamb's book of life is cast into the Lake of Fire!
3. You can change your destiny easily now- Accept Christ!  Or go into Tribulation period!

C.- THIS EVENT ENDS THE PERIOD OF TIME CALLED THE DAY OF THE LORD THEN COMES THE NEW HEAVEN AND EARTH

1. If you want to have part in the new creation you have to decide for Christ today-
2. After Rev. 20:15 Time ends,- God recycles the Earth- Heaven- and the whole works!
3. Then comes the Eternity with the Lord- no tears, no death, no sorrow nor crying-

Every Prophecy fits into place. And God has a place for you- With the Lord- will you be there?

WHEN THE TRUMPET SOUNDS, IT WILL BE TOO LATE TO JOIN THE LORD'S SIDE. WHY NOT JOIN HIM NOW!

1. Today is the Day of Grace Salvation is a free gift!- Purchased by Blood of Christ!
2. Knowing all about the 3 fold division of the Day of the Lord is not being Saved!- Check self
3. The rapture will not be partial- but will you be with the Lord- Accept Him Tonight!
