BIBLE PROPHECY IS TO BE TAKEN QUITE LITERALY. WHERE THE PROPHET SPEAKS IN SYMBOLS, LOOK FOR EXPLANATION

1. This is but one of the 7 Judgements - and it fits into God's plan at the right time!  1.-Believer's sins on Cross; 2.-Believer's self Judgement; 3.-Believer's works-Seat of Christ 4.-Nations at His Return in Glory; 5.-Israel at His Return; 6.-Angels; 7.-White Throne Judgement
2. This Judgement determines who inherits the Kingdom of God- to live physically on earth in Millennium
3. Don't be Hyper-dispensational- there are spiritual truths much needed today!

I.- THE LORD'S RETURN IN GLORY Matt 25:31a

We must compare Scripture with Scripture- Rev. 19:11-16 fits just prior to this- Rev.-Heaven, Matt.-Earth,-Rev. 20 later

A.- THE "SON OF MAN" SHALL COME BACK TO EARTH, TO ESTABLISH THE THRONE OF DAVID 

1. When He comes for His Church He is Jesus the Lord - not the "Son of Man" -Names tip meaning
2. This return to the earth is public,-not Rapture; is in Power- not the humble and meek one
3. This dates the end of the Tribulation period, and the beginning of the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth

B.- THE BIBLE SAYS HIS HOLY ANGELS WILL COME WITH HIM! AND SO WILL THE SAINTS IN GLORY!

1. When He comes for His Church to take them from the earth- He comes alone, and mysterious
2. Here He comes with His Angels- Rev. 19:14- and a great conquering, forceful power!-Anti Christ
3. The coming of Angels often mean a coming of Judgement - they are messengers of wrath-Vials-

C.- HE SHALL SIT UPON THE THRONE OF GLORY, AND SHALL RULE THE NATIONS WITH A ROD OF IRON

1. This will be a literal throne, and He will rule the nations - Isa 11:3,4
2. Jesus promised Peter a throne- Matt 19:28, and every Christian-according to faith-Rev. 20:6
3. The Church will not be in this Judgement as subjects- but as associates- and help judge

Mankind will be given its last chance to live under perfect government- & fail here too! 

II.- THE GATHERING OF THE NATIONS Matt 25:32

 Some argue whether this is as individuals, or nations- but these people alive at end of Tribulation

A.- THOUGH THE EARTH HAS UNDERGONE GREAT DISTRESS; YET THE REMENANT OF NATIONS WILL BE GATHERED

1. These are living people to be judged as to their worthiness to enter the earthly kingdom
2. Some are called Sheep and some Goats; peaceful, loveable, obedient; stubborn, wild, rebellious
3. The shepherd here is not the "Good Shepherd",-but now is inspecting for the slaughter house!

B.- THE NATIONS ARE DIVIDED INTO THE RIGHT AND LEFT HAND AND THEIR FUTURE DESTINY DIFFERS!

1. Those on right- v.34 -given invitation to enter the Kingdom - Let's see what Men can do on good earth
2. Those on left- v.41,46 -are cast into the pit prepared for the Devil - Earth cleansed
3. It is nice to call the left-wingers company of Satan-but these followed Anti-Christ, not Russia

III.- THE PRINCIPLE OF THE DIVISION Vrs 35-45

Note that in each case the one being Judged seemed ignorant of the reason for the judgement!

A.- THE SHEEP NATIONS CARED FOR THE LORD'S BRETHREN DURING THE TIME OF THEIR GREAT TRIBULATION!

1. The nations of the world will swap sides in great World Wars during tribulation- Russia invades Palestine-; Roman Empire comes to rescue-; But is revealed to be Antichrist-; China then makes her grab against Anti-Christ-; -Then The Lord catches them in Megiddo!
2. In the midst of the Tribulation Israel will recognize the Anti-Christ & the 144,000 Jews become evangelists- Rev.:3-8, and the multitude of Gentiles saved-v.9.
3. Some nations will open their doors to the refugees,-some refuse them

B.-THE SHEEP NATIONS CARED FOR THE LORD'S BRETHREN, THE GOAT NATIONS DID NOT HELP THEM!

1. On this occasion some showed mercy to those preaching the "Everlasting Gospel "- some did not.
2. Throughout History- the nations who have persecuted the Jews have fallen in judgement
3. But this can also be said concerning people who have helped God's Servants-Prophets, preachers

C.- THE SENTENCE OF THE JUDGE IS FINAL AND WITHOUT APPEAL! v.34,41 Come- or Depart

1. Those who heap cruelties against God's suffering people form their own doom-
2. Those who have tried to help the poor and oppressed have always been blessed of the Lord

But every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess Jesus as Lord- Now or later!

TODAY THE JUDGEMENT IS BASED ON THE GOSPEL OF GRACE, THEN IT WILL BE ON THE TREATMENT OF OTHERS!

Be safe- by receiving Jesus Christ as your Savior and not be on earth at this time-
